Q. Why are we here?
A. I’m not sure about you, but I’m here because this is my blog.

Q. And you are?
A. Call me K.

Q. K as in?
A. The eleventh letter of the alphabet.

Q. K’s not a name!
A. No, but eleven makes some fascinating patterns when raised to certain powers.

Q. Fine, I guess. So, what’s here?
A. This dumb post and whatever Hugo needs.

Q. Exciting site.
A. I haven’t had a personal website in over a decade, cut me a break, or I’ll post poetry.

Q. NOT THE POETRY!
A. Exactly.

Q. What’s the history of planetmofo?
A. A long time ago, an idiot registered a domain, started a blog before the word really existed, and invited their friends to post on it.

Some were strangers who became friends, others were friends who became strangers.

Normal early internet hijinks, really.

Q. Plans this time around?
A. Fiction, thoughts, links, code, and some pixel art here and there.

Q. Any posts on politics?
A. Probably not. I’ve long since trying to change anyone’s mind.

My entire family’s queer and poor. You can guess my politics without me going off on how John Fetterman is a poor example of the ‘dad who goes to hardcore shows’ stereotype1. It’s unnecessary.

  2. My spouse has some real opinions about his ‘chin beard’, however. ↩︎
